Welcome everyone to this blog section, which I created to answer your questions, inform you, and enlighten you! As a client, it's difficult to know who to turn to when it comes to piercings. Who will be there to advise and guide you? Who will be able to provide you with clear and reliable information? It's quite difficult to sort out fact from fiction, because there are no clear and precise regulations, and there's a lot of misinformation on the internet, stressful videos to create buzz, advice from friends, word of mouth, and more. I wanted to create this blog to inform my clients and future clients (and anyone else who might be interested), and so that they can find in-depth explanations on everything we discuss at the studio. It's important to understand what a piercing really is and what it involves.
But who I am ?

My name is Sélina, and I'm a professional body piercer. I've been doing this job for over 10 years and I'm a member of the APP (Association of Professional Piercers) USA and the UKAPP.
I'll tell you about the APP in a future article, because it's a crucial association for our profession.
As an APP member, I am committed to respecting the strictest hygiene standards and only installing high-quality jewelry, with perfect finishes, materials that are controlled, and which are produced in a manner that respects workers.
I regularly train in everything related to my profession: APP seminars and webinars, or other training courses held by external organizations (Red Cross for example).
In this blog section, I'll start by covering the basics: what a piercing is and how it heals, frequently used terms, the issues related to a piercing, essential hygiene concepts, and more. Then, little by little, I'll cover more specific topics.
Feel free to contact me by email or on social media (Instagram or Facebook) to suggest topics or questions you'd like me to explore here. And if you'd like to be kept up to date with new articles, consider subscribing to the newsletter!
Enjoy reading, and I look forward to seeing you in the studio soon!
Sélina
